Hello everybody,
I'm Alexandra McLoughlin and I
have created this special page dedicated to
The Great Escape Festival in Brighton which the name says it all!
TGE 2008 was bigger than ever.
Over 200 Acts performed in 30 venues over the 3 days (15,16, 17th May 2008)
Hope you find this page interesting and if you didn't make it to the festival this year I shall look forward to seeing you at the Festival next year ! 
I was lucky enough to attend the festival and had photopasses for most of the shows.

Each year a country is selected and spotlighted in the line-up. Previous years have seen both Canada and France featured with great success, increasing not only awareness of the country’s music but also giving the bands a massive leg up within the UK and European markets. This year the focus was on Norway and Ida Maria, The Lionheart Brothers, Ungdomskulen, Casiokids, Tabita, Accidents Never Happen and Sigh & Explode are amongst the bands that performed.
MTV TWO also hosted three nights of mayhem at the Concorde 2 which was presented by Zane Lowe who recorded his ‘Gonzo Loves’ tv show from the parties, running in to the early hours. Gonzo loves is the 60 minutes of music television that revolutionized the world.

At an incredible location. If you have never been to Brighton before, perhaps you can start thinking about and plan ahead for next year.
